Another more complex system for sending signals using flags – called semaphores – was later developed.
Here, messages can be spelled letter by letter, with each letter indicated by two flags raised in a certain way.
Acronyms were also made that messages from someone in great difficulty and needing assistance were easily delivered. For instance, SOS which stands for ‘Save Our Soul.’
If just two flags can save us who are in big trouble, then we can also use our two knees to pray for help from God.
“O come, let us worship and bow down: let us kneel before the LORD our maker.”
Psalms 95:6
Let us, in every problem in our lives right now, always use both of our knees to pray rather than to rely on ourselves.
