Shalom and happy Sabbath!
Do you think an hour is precious to you? If you do, how do you spend that one hour that you have? We might have different answers.
There is an interesting quote from the book of Mind, Character, and Personality, Volume 1, page 99, paragraph 1. “Waste no hours, no moments.” (Mind, Character, and Personality, Vol. 1, 99.1)
God wants us to use our time wisely. Do not waste it by doing useless things which do not bring us closer to eternity.
“He requires every one of us to cultivate our powers and attain the highest possible capacity for usefulness, that we may do noble work for God and bless humanity. Every talent that we possess, whether of mental capacity, money, or influence, is of God …”
Mind, Character, and Personality, Vol. 1, 99.2
And remember, “whatsoever ye do, do it heartily, as to the Lord, and not unto men.” (Colossians 3:23)
If God still grants us the chance to live today, then remember, “That he no longer should live the rest of his time in the flesh to the lusts of men, but to the will of God.” (1 Peter 4:2)
May we all spend the hour and even the moment God gives to us wisely, and bring all glory to Him.
Happy Sabbath and God bless all of us. Amen.
