Shalom and happy Sabbath!
We are back with the “Foods That Look Like Body Parts” series, and today we will be talking about Avocadoes.
When we cut an avocado into two parts, we can see that the avocado is similar to the shape of a womb. Let us now see what benefits avocadoes have.
Avocadoes contains vitamin E which can balance the hormones in our bodies and prevent cervical cancer.
According to the Nutrients – The Role of Avocados in Maternal Diets during the Periconceptional Period, Pregnancy, and Lactation journal, avocadoes contain high level of folate and potassium which is good for the growth of the fetus in the womb.
During pregnancy, the need of folic acid increases because of the forming of the new cells and tissues. By consuming enough avocadoes, mothers can provide enough folic acid.
Folic acid can also prevent premature birth, low birthweight, heart defects, as well as neural tube defects in babies.
Amazing, isn’t it? God takes care of fetus in a mother’s womb, and God also takes care of us. Do you want to surrender your life to a God who really cares for single one of us?
Let us now surrender our whole lives into His loving, caring arms. Let Him be the Captain, as He has promised, “Commit thy way unto the LORD; trust also in him; and he shall bring it to pass.” (Psalm 37:5)
God bless you all. Amen.
