Happy Sabbath!
It’s not hard to see how the telephone is changing the world. Now, two people on two different sides of the world can talk to each other without the sound of blips, dots, lines, flashes, or flags, and it’s so fast and easy.
Connecting with someone on the other side of the world is often as easy as picking up the phone and dialing a few numbers.
Imagine how long it would take with the old method, using a runner, horse, boat – it could be months, not minutes. And then you still have to wait at least as long for an answer!
And now it is even more sophisticated using E-mail, SMS, chat, and now we can even meet face to face through our cell phones. An extraordinary change, right? What lessons can we learn from this entire series of studies? The times are so fast. Information can be obtained more easily and quickly.
That is why it is said, “And this gospel of the kingdom shall be preached in all the world for a witness unto all nations; and then shall the end.” (Matthew 24:14)
Let us who are now easier to provide and get information can use each tool wisely. Use the social media that we have to convey the truth of God’s Word instead of using it only for our pleasure.
Let us all be wise people in using every tool to spread the gospel to the whole world.
